An Esther Moment…For Such a time as this

Moment Created

Good Morning Everyone!!

I am so overwhelmed by the Goodness of God. Yesterday I had a meeting with the Executive Director of the Maryland Right to Life. I am also now the President of the Greater Baltimore Right to Life. God placed me in this position. I never asked for it. The Baltimore Right to Life came to me and asked me if I would be willing to do it. This is a door that God opened. I will be attending the State Right to Life Board Meetings, and I will be helping out with the Maryland Right to Life Banquet that they have every year.

When I shared this with my mom, last night she mentioned that she is going to pray that God gives me wisdom, anointing, and his protection. She also said the words “For such a time as this..”

This morning I received a devotional from Neil Vermillion, and this is devotional. It is so profound with the meeting that I had yesterday.

As you step forward in faith, moving toward what I have set before your eyes, you will see circumstances begin to shift. For this is a time for you to advance, a time to progress, a time to engage and initiate. It is a time to take action and begin to pursue goals and implement plans. There will still be a process involved, there will still be work and labor involved, but now is the time to take action and move towards things with eager anticipation.

For there are days of preparation and there are days of planning, but the days of accomplishment and manifestation are upon you, even this day. So do not continue to wait as you plan, but rather plan as you are moving. Do not wait for the “right moment” for the right moment is upon you even now. Take action and move forward in faith though you do not have all the pieces to the puzzle. For in your obedience, and faith, you will see my plans continue to unfold before your eyes in ways that will surprise you.

As you put yourself into motion you will find the missing answers and missing pieces, so do not allow their absence to be a hindrance or delay for you.

Move forward, taking action toward all I have already placed within you. For this is not a time to conceive new plans, to create new ideas, or devise new schemes. But this is the day to launch forward with what’s already been given you. This is the day to step out and move closer to the completion of what has been revealed to you already. So seek no new plans, but move forward with what you’ve been given, trusting, knowing, and believing what you have will be sufficient.

It will not be sufficient for you to finish, but it will be sufficient for you to begin. So look to the tools in your hands and know you’ve been given enough to get you started. And though you need more, more will be given you when you need it as you move forward in faith and trust.

So jump! Today is the day to jump and move and begin. Do not delay. Do not hesitate. Simply move upon all that’s been shown to you already. Take action, for the day of my favor is surely upon you.

A New Year of New Beginnings

SunRise7777777

It is a brand new year. A whole new book of our lives will be written this year. Today is only January 5th, and I have had a lot happen in just the few short days that this year has had. While it is a New Year of New Beginnings, it is also a year of Purpose. God has given to me my purpose and that is to continue to share my rape conception story and to educate and also reach people to God through these things. On Sunday Night, my Pastor gave some really useful guidelines for 2016. While fulfilling my purpose and what God wants me to do, I am going to be asking these questions.

Can You Ask God To Bless It?  Can You Thank God For It?  Does It Give God Glory?  Is it of  The World?  Is It A Stumbling Block To Others?  Is It To Please God Or Man?  Do I Realize The Consequences?  Is It Expedient, Will It Edify?  Will His Indwelling Presence Permit It?  Would I Want To Be Doing This When Jesus Comes? Does It Promote Love?

As you begin this Year ask God what is his Purpose for your life is and then ask these questions. After all one day, every knee shall bow.

A Year Of Blessings…Looking Ahead

conceived in rape_2c but i am loved 2

As 2015 Comes to an end, I am thinking about the blessings of God. Little did I know the position that I would be in at the end of this year. In August of this year, I met with the Greater Baltimore Right to Life, and we were talking about Fundraising ideas, and they asked me if I had any ideas and I did not have any at the time. Well on the way home or the next day the Lord spoke to me in a very profound way and told me to write it and get it out there. Well, I had no idea as to where this would lead. I ended up writing a small book “Conceived in Rape, But I am Loved”, and I am so blessed as to what God is doing just through that. I have decided to buy the books myself, and I have set a donation price of 5.00, and the proceeds go to help the Greater Baltimore Right to Life.

I have been helping with the Greater Baltimore Right to Life, and they have asked me to be the President of the Greater Baltimore Right to Life. I have accepted the position.

Also, this year my story was featured with many different organizations and the one that is precious to me is in November it was published in the Pentecostal Herald. The Pentecostal Herald goes all over the world, and every licensed minister in the United Pentecostal Church receives the magazine.

So many, many blessing, but I am looking forward to seeing what God is going to do in 2016.

Let me say while there is so much darkness in this world, The Light of Jesus Christ shines brighter and the darker it gets, the closer we are to going to our eternal home. Where every knee shall bow, and everyone will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord!!

Walk Toward The Baby And Away From Fear

The title of this blog came from something my birthmother said.

Can you imagine what Mary must have felt that day that the Angel appeared to her and told her that she would have a baby, and his name would be Jesus? I can imagine she was afraid. I know she was scared, she said how can this be I know not a man.

As I think about this, I think of all the women who were raped and conceived a baby. For Mary, it was a joyous occasion, but for these women it was not. When a woman becomes pregnant through rape she is afraid, she feels worthless, she was violated against, she has negative feelings about herself. When you meet her or are friends with her, please don’t tell her that the first thing she should do is have an abortion. Let her know that she is loved and that Jesus loves her, and She is made worthy through Jesus Christ. Show her Grace and Mercy. Don’t be judgemental.

Help her in any way that you can and help her see that the baby that is growing inside of her has a purpose, and the baby will help her heal. Pray with her and help her to walk towards the coming of that baby and help her to walk away from fear.

My birthmother was raped, and she stayed at a home for unwed mothers, and the people there showed her the Grace and Mercy of God. They helped her any way that they could, and they walked with her towards the birth of her baby and helped her walk away from fear.

As Mary walked away from fear towards the birth of her baby, imagine the people that talked about her, the people that turned their back on her. The day finally came where Joseph and Mary had to talk the long walk to Bethlehem.  Imagine the uncomfortable ride on the donkey to get to Bethlehem where our Saviour Jesus Christ the Messiah was born.

When God Cries

JESUSabortedbaby

My mind has been going in so many directions lately. I know that the Bible says that when we get to Heaven there will be no more crying over there.

But then I got to thinking about God. He sees all and I am sure that it breaks his heart every time that we do wrong. It breaks his heart when we choose to go our own way and not take the way that he chose for us.

God is the creator of life, and he is the only one that has the right to take it away. God created each and every one of us for a purpose. It is our responsibility to seek his face and let him lead and guide us into that purpose.

I want to touch on the subject of Abortion. I don’t understand why the life of the pre-born baby is not held at the highest level. We live in a selfish world where we think it’s all about us.

Not that long ago I heard about a woman that saw the ultrasound photo of her pre-born baby and she said that she found the peace that she needed and then had an abortion.

I believe God cries when he sees the very life that he is creating to be used for his purpose being murdered before they are born, being torn apart limb by limb before they are born, being burned alive through a saline abortion before they are born. I believe God cries when babies who are conceived out of rape/incest who are innocent pay for the crime they did not commit.

When are we as a nation going to understand that God cries when his creation is destroyed because of our selfishness? When are we going to turn back as a nation to what this country was founded upon and that is the Word of God?  When will we once again value the life of the pre-born baby?

When Will The Discrimination Against The Rape Conceived End

1f9cb73845fdfd37eda9211f5b607012

I have been doing some thinking today. While telling my rape conception story today trying to change the hearts and minds of people. I was told to stop being the victim, that I was judgmental, uncompassionate, and cold hearted. This is just how society treats those conceived in rape, and this is mild.

Over the last few months since I am getting more involved with the pro-life movement I have been paying very close attention to others who were also conceived in rape, they have a backbone and keep going. Those who represent the hard cases have to have tough skin.

Living in the world that we do people just get something in their head, and they think that it is right without doing research, and talking to others. Why is it that Society treats those conceived in rape/incest like they are some disease that people need to stay away from? The way that society treats us reminds me of the way people were dealt with in the Bible who had leprosy. They were considered unclean and had to be separated from the people who were found to be clean.

Just because someone is conceived in rape does not mean that they are going to become like the rapist. That is so far from the truth. I was conceived in rape and society will tell me that I have the rapist blood flowing through my veins. That is so wrong. Jesus Christ died on Calvary, and it is him blood that flows through my veins. Jesus Christ, God manifested in flesh breathed life into me.

I wonder those who devalue and dehumanize those conceived in rape if they were conceived in rape, how would they feel if people talked to them like they do us.

I don’t think that the discrimination will ever end for those conceived in rape because we live in a fallen world.

If the discrimination against those conceived in rape doesn’t come to a close, and least, show them some respect. Show respect for the mothers who are raising their children conceived in rape, show respect towards the children they did not do anything wrong. Also, show some compassion towards the mother who was raped and is pregnant from rape. Don’t automatically tell her that she should have an abortion. Love her and show compassion towards her. Value the life of her and the baby.

When A Spoken Word Becomes A Burden

CNS-LIFE-GENDER -- Behind the scenes- the model of a fetus in the womb. On Mother's Day, one of the most startling broadcasts will be In the Womb on National Geographic Channel. Pictures of unborn infants are not new but this two-hour Brit documentary uses the latest in 3-D scanning technology to provide exceptional images of a baby girl from conception to birth. Her mouth opens, she swallows amniotic fluid, hiccups, learns innate reflexes when startled, seems to recognize familiar voices and music, selects a favourite thumb to suck (at 11 weeks), dreams (but of what?) and generally is awake about 10 per cent of the time. Last August, sitting in church; the Lord spoke very clear to that I was to tell my rape conception story. Over the last few months I have been getting the story out there, I have also been getting involved with the Greater Baltimore Right to Life, and they are very thankful that I have come along. A breath of fresh. I am doing everything that I can do to be a help to them.

The miracle of this spoken word was about a year and a half before that; I was dealing with the devastation that I will never have any children. The devastation was very painful that I could not even look at a newborn baby, I could not even look at a pregnant woman. Over time though that did get better for me.

Since things have been picking up, and I am going to be getting more involved to save the lives of pre-born babies, I have been thinking that this is the desire of my heart to see every child saved from the local butcher shop named planned parenthood.

Last evening while trying to go to sleep in my minds eye I saw dozens of babies in the womb the picture was moving very fast, I saw the womb and the head, arms, legs, backs, the placenta.(What I saw was pretty close to the picture above, but with many babies, flashing through my minds eye at one time). After I had seen all this all I could do was cry, because of the burden that I was given and the urgency to save these precious lives. That is when the spoken word became the burden.

Morning Manna

Manna for Morning

Numbers 11:4-9

And the mixt multitude that was among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat? We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick:  But now our soul is dried away: there is nothing at all, beside this manna, before our eyes.  And the manna was as coriander seed, and the colour thereof as the colour of bdellium. And the people went about, and gathered it, and ground it in mills, or beat it in a mortar, and baked it in pans, and made cakes of it: and the taste of it was as the taste of fresh oil.  And when the dew fell upon the camp in the night, the manna fell upon it.

Not that long ago I had gotten up early because I couldn’t sleep and I was just sitting on the couch, and it was so quiet and peaceful. It was like a refreshing time. I then got to thinking No wonder people read and pray early in the morning. It is so peaceful and quiet; there is no stress of the day yet. The Early Morning hour can be our refreshing time.

While talking with my sister in law last night on the phone, I was sharing with her the Devotional about the Potter’s Wheel, and I told her I said, Bernice, I am stumped. I don’t have a thought to write down for tomorrow. She said something that was very profound to me. She said the Israelites the Lord made sure they had enough food to make it through the Day. The Lord rained down Manna from Heaven, and they would pick it up in the morning. She told me you were trying to get the Manna tonight. You want it now. You have to wait until Morning. That spoke to me.

There are times where we want God to do things now, and we get so stressed when he doesn’t do things now. Let’s wait on God. God will give us just enough strength to make it through anything. It’s not too little or too much it’s just right. Like the Israelites, The Lord made sure they had enough for that day.

So my Idea if you all want to join in with me. Let’s all get up a little extra early every morning and spend some quiet and peaceful time with our Heavenly Father. It will make our Days less stressed because we will have gotten our food in early and we have enough strength to make it through the Day.

The early morning hours can be refreshing.

Incense

AARON-WITH-INCENSE-ALTAR

While trying to go to sleep tonight I said to my Husband I feel like writing. I want to write. I have many ideas on what to write but I need to write down the topics and do some research. Well as I was thinking I thought about Incense.

Incense according to Webster’s Dictionary is a material used to produce a fragrant odor when burned

Exodus 30:34  says God spoke to Moses: “Take fragrant spices—gum resin, onycha, galbanum—and add pure frankincense. Mix the spices in equal proportions to make an aromatic incense, the art of a perfumer, salted and pure—holy. Now crush some of it into powder and place some of it before The Testimony in the Tent of Meeting where I will meet with you; it will be for you the holiest of holy places. When you make this incense, you are not to copy the mixture for your own use. It’s holy to God; keep it that way. Whoever copies it for personal use will be excommunicated

As we look at this passage of scripture we see that God is having a conversation with Moses. The Lord is telling Moses how to make the incense with the ingredients listed, but he told Moses not to copy it for personal use. It is Holy to God, keep it that way.

I think about incense in our walk with God. In order for there to be a sweet smelling fragrance we need to have the Proper ingredients in our lives. The Proper ingredients are Daily Bible Reading, Prayer, Sometimes fasting, being around positive people, being accountable to another person.

We need to keep these ingredients because they are Pleasing to God we need to keep it that way.

We need to get rid of all the ungodly ingredients that are in our lives because they are not Holy to God and we need to be a sweet smelling fragrance to the Lord that is Holy to God.

Today’s Prayer: Lord Jesus please help us get rid of everything that is ungodly in our lives. We want to be a sweet smelling fragrance that is Holy and expectable to you.

Rejected But Accepted

Rejected

Based on Mark 12:1-8

As we read these verses, we read about Jesus telling the story about the man who planted a vineyard. We see where the man sent out his servants to collect the harvest, but the farmers killed the servants. So the man then sent out his son thinking to himself they won’t kill my son. Well, the farmers did kill his son. Let us take our focus to the part of verse 10. It says, “The stone that the builders rejected has now become the cornerstone.”

As I sit here this morning, I being an adopted child have struggled with being an adopted child and have felt rejection so many times. About seven years ago I met my Birth mother for the first time, but before she accepted to have contact with me during the waiting time for me, it seemed like forever. Finally, the day came when the case worker called and said my birth mother was ok with having contact with me.

Adopted children struggle with the feelings of rejection. A minister came to our church one time, and he sat and talked with me and said I struggle with two things, and one of those things was the feelings of rejection.

Jesus had to feel rejected by the way that people treated him, but because he was God manifested in the flesh he accepted and loved the people that rejected him.

We are human, and we all probably have felt the feelings of rejection, but we have to realize that Jesus won’t reject us. He loves us. When we come to him we become part of his family he adopted us. He gave us his name. It’s just like when I was born my birth mother gave me a name, but when I was adopted my parents changed my name. When we become part of the family of God not only does he give us his name but we begin to change because he changes us.

So when you feel like people have rejected you, remember that Jesus has accepted you, and he loves and he wants to change you.
