When A Spoken Word Becomes A Burden

CNS-LIFE-GENDER -- Behind the scenes- the model of a fetus in the womb. On Mother's Day, one of the most startling broadcasts will be In the Womb on National Geographic Channel. Pictures of unborn infants are not new but this two-hour Brit documentary uses the latest in 3-D scanning technology to provide exceptional images of a baby girl from conception to birth. Her mouth opens, she swallows amniotic fluid, hiccups, learns innate reflexes when startled, seems to recognize familiar voices and music, selects a favourite thumb to suck (at 11 weeks), dreams (but of what?) and generally is awake about 10 per cent of the time. Last August, sitting in church; the Lord spoke very clear to that I was to tell my rape conception story. Over the last few months I have been getting the story out there, I have also been getting involved with the Greater Baltimore Right to Life, and they are very thankful that I have come along. A breath of fresh. I am doing everything that I can do to be a help to them.

The miracle of this spoken word was about a year and a half before that; I was dealing with the devastation that I will never have any children. The devastation was very painful that I could not even look at a newborn baby, I could not even look at a pregnant woman. Over time though that did get better for me.

Since things have been picking up, and I am going to be getting more involved to save the lives of pre-born babies, I have been thinking that this is the desire of my heart to see every child saved from the local butcher shop named planned parenthood.

Last evening while trying to go to sleep in my minds eye I saw dozens of babies in the womb the picture was moving very fast, I saw the womb and the head, arms, legs, backs, the placenta.(What I saw was pretty close to the picture above, but with many babies, flashing through my minds eye at one time). After I had seen all this all I could do was cry, because of the burden that I was given and the urgency to save these precious lives. That is when the spoken word became the burden.
