God’s Plan For The Family

Mark10_6-9

Genesis 1:26-27 says  And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.  So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Not that long ago The United States Supreme Court heard arguments that Marriage needs to be changed. The United States Supreme Court will make that ruling probably sometime in late June or early July. When God made man and woman, he told them to replenish the earth.

There are four verses in the Bible where God says for a Man to leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife. Genesis 2:24 says Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

Matthew 19:5 says And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?

Mark 10:7 says For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;

Ephesians 5:31 says For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

God set it up this way. Children need both a Father and a Mother.

It is sad that we live in a generation where wrong is right and right is wrong. The Founding Fathers of the United States of America founded the country on the word of God. They had prayed before they began their work day and before each session.  I pray that the Supreme Court will recognize marriage between a man and a woman.

I know when the Supreme Court was making the decision about abortion to many Christians sat ideally by and said it won’t become legal. What happened there? Abortion became legal, and about 58 million babies have been aborted and many more babies were not able to be conceived because of the 58 million that have been aborted.  I wonder how many people today know that abortion became legal because a woman lied and said she was raped.

Here we are again this week Congress is getting ready to vote on a 20-week pain capable bill to make abortions after 20 weeks illegal except in cases of rape/incest and special needs. Why do we continue to make exceptions? Why do we continue to allow the innocent pay for the crime that the birth father committed?  Oh, because what is wrong is now right, and what is right is now wrong.  We as Christians need to have a backbone and take a stand and not just think that well they won’t pass these types of bills. It happened in 1973 and if we don’t stand up and face some persecution things will continue to get worse and worse.  A lot of problems in today’s world is a Spiritual Problem. When we take a stand for Biblical principles and people, say they were offended, they are not offended, but they are convicted, and they don’t want to change.

If the United States Supreme Court decides to change the recognition of marriage, don’t be surprised.

I am thankful that I was raised in a Christian home with a Mother and Father, who taught me right from wrong.

The Holy Spirit

Holy Ghost

Yesterday my husband and I left for church early and went to walmart and someone approached my husband and asked if he was a minister. My husband said yes and told the person where he goes to church. The person asked my husband if you must have the Holy Ghost to be saved. Lets look at what Acts Chapter 2 says 1-42

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?

8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?

9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,

10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,

11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?

13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.

16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:

21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:

23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

25 For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:

26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:

27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

28 Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.

29 Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.

30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;

31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.

33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool.

36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

As we seen the 120 received the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:38 Peter stood up on the day of Pentecost and said that we must repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost. Verse 39 says for the promise is unto you and to your children and to as many as the Lord shall call.  Jesus Christ had to ascend back to Heaven for the Comforter to come. The comforter is the Holy Ghost. They received the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. I was raised in an Apostolic Pentecostal church and when someone receives the Holy Ghost they are not speaking in a language that they know. They are speaking in a language that only God can understand. Receiving the Holy Ghost is God’s spirit living within us. When we receive the Holy Ghost it’s as if God is putting his stamp on us and when he comes back for his bride he will know who is his because he put his stamp on us.

God’s Word Trumps Hillary Clinton’s Beliefs On Abortion

9577290_orig

This has been on my mind so much the last few days. This morning I looked up the scriptures about God’s words remaining. It was very important that it is written 3 times in the New Testament. Matthew 24:35  Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. Mark 13:31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. And in Luke 21:33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

Last week I read an article on Lifesitenews.com  about Hillary Clinton saying  Religious beliefs against abortion must be changed.  When I read this I just shook my head and said Lord help us.

We live in a World today that is so messed up. It’s like what is right is now wrong and what is wrong is now right. Wrong, Wrong and Wrong again.

The Word of God has always been and always will be. God has always been and he always will be God.  Acts 4:12 says, Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Hillary Clinton can not make people change what they Believe in. She will never make me change what I believe in and I am 100% Pro-life Noexceptions.  Not only is it that I believe abortion is murder, but it also says in the Bible “Thou shall not kill.” Since the Bible is the written word of God and God’s word remains abortion will always be murder.

To be Accepted

Acceptance

Waking up this morning I thought about being accepted. With being adopted I can relate with many adoptees that struggle with rejection issues and have a hard time with being accepted. With being adopted myself I struggled with rejection and acceptance issues. Within the first 8 weeks of my life I was in the hospital for a week and my birth mother and I had some bonding time, than I went to foster care for about 6 weeks and then to adoptive home. A lot of people make think because I was a baby and don’t remember that time that it should not have affected me.

The need to feel accepted and to be accepted is something that everyone at sometime or another probably struggle with. Not an easy thing to go through because then you feel alone and that no one cares. What we forget to remember is that Jesus Christ cares for us and he accepts us.

I was looking for some verses this morning on being accepted and there are some that I want to share.

Ephesians 1:6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

I am so thankful I have a God who accepts me and cares for me. He sees the sparrow that falls and he sees everything that we do and he cares for us and we are valuable to God.

Chosen..As A Secret Weapon

Chosen by God

Ever since I have shared my story in church, it seems that I have been hearing my Pastor taking that stand against abortion more than ever. Just the other day I was thinking the other day when is he going to mention abortion again, and it happened last night.  Last night my Pastor preached on this topic Chosen..As A Secret Weapon. Immediately I thought about the many babies that could have been aborted, but were saved and protected from an abortion.  I then thought about all those that I have met that were also conceived in rape and mothers from rape. I thought God these that are conceived in rape and mothers from rape are secret weapons that you are using to be a light and more and more are coming out and letting their voices be heard.

The Scriptures that my Pastor used are from Isaiah 49:1-5

Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The Lord hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name.

2 And he hath made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand hath he hid me, and made me a polished shaft; in his quiver hath he hid me;

3 And said unto me, Thou art my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.

4 Then I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nought, and in vain: yet surely my judgment is with the Lord, and my work with my God.

5 And now, saith the Lord that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the Lord, and my God shall be my strength.

When my Pastor read these Scriptures, some things hit me.  God knew how my conception would come to be, and God alone called me from the womb and from the depths of my mother he made mentioned of my name. God knew my name would be changed and what my name would be even before I was born.

God has given us a mouth to use to speak the truth. We must always speak the truth. Standing up for the life of the unborn with being 100% Pro-life No exceptions is standing up for truth.

God has kept us in the shadow of his hand. God protects us and going through life God polishes the rough edges and makes us into secret weapons that he wants use for his glory.

The Refuge

Psalms 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Saturday Night I was thinking and I asked my husband what he thinks about when he thinks about a refuge. He said safety, protection. It took me almost 7 years to realize how awesome the word Refuge is in my life. A lot of you know that I was conceived in rape and my birth mother kept me safe and protected me from an illegal abortion.

When my parents, my husband and I met my birth mother we went to eat at a restaurant called The Refuge. It really is Amazing. She kept me safe and it was 35 years after I was born that I met her and we ate at the Refuge. It really made that reunion all the more special and meaningful.

Feeling Special

Sitting here thinking this morning about what our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ did for us on Calvary.I tend to feel special at easter time partly because my birthday is very close to easter and at times it will fall on Easter.

I always think about Thank you Lord for dying on the cross for my sins. It does not stop with the cross, but there is an empty tomb. Do you know of anyone else who died on a cross and buried in a tomb and rose themselves up from the dead? The only person that I know is Jesus Christ.

When I found my birth mother I found out that I was born during Holy Week in 1973 and when I got in contact with her it was the first day of Lent in 2008. I know how special it was for me to start having contact with me the beginning of Lent in 2008 and so it was special for me.

What really is mind-blowing is find out that God died on the cross many years ago for a little baby girl who would before she was born help her birth mother heal from something that is horrific, traumatic and her birth mother protected her from an illegal abortion and that baby girl was born during Holy Week is 73.  What the enemy wanted to destroy God turned around for Good.

Grafted in the Vine

I am so amazingly blessed as to what God is doing since I started to share about how I found out I was conceived in rape. The other day I have the privilege to share with someone who follows my blog that I was adopted and shared with them the story about finding out I was conceived in rape. They never realized the depth of adoption. I think it blew them away.

Well I have been thinking about the passage in Romans 11:17 If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root, 19 You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.” 23 And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. 24 After all, if you were cut out of an olive tree that is wild by nature, and contrary to nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree!

These verses have been going through my mind and thinking about God’s chosen people the children of Israel. Well the Children of Israel turned their back on God, so God started dealing with the gentiles and when we come to God and repent, receive his spirit in us and are baptized in the name of Jesus Christ he then adopts us and we are grafted into the vine. He has given up the spirit of Adoption and we can call out to his and call our Heavenly Father Daddy. I am so very thankful that I have been grafted into the vine and that God has chosen me to be able to share my story and people’s eyes are open, hearts are changed, lives are saved.

Forgiven

John 8:10-12 (KJV)

When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?

11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

I know that we have all done things that after we did it felt guilty and the last thing that we needed was people condemning us and coming down on us. What we needed was gentleness, kindness and love.

I know personally of two women that at a point in my life came and told me that they had an abortion. It broke my heart to hear this. I listened to them. I never once condemned them and told them that they where a murderer. There are too many people in society that do that to women. That is the worst thing that can be done. I showed them the love of Jesus Christ

Women that have abortions are dealing with regret, feelings of being worthless, and emotional pain. As Christians, we need to show them the love of Jesus Christ, that they are worthy and that Jesus is a mender of broken hearts, broken lives and secret wounds.

I remember listening to a song by Point of Grace titled, “Heal the wounds, but leave the scars.” I have my own set of scars that remind me of a painful past, but Jesus Christ has forgiven me and through him I have been made worthy. He has redeemed me and set me free.
