What It Means To Be Pro-Life

before-i-formed-you-in-the-womb-i-knew-you

What does it mean to be Pro-Life? That should be an easy answer, but apparently it’s not for many people in Society. Even in the Pro-Life movement it is not an easy answer.

Yesterday the 20-week pain capable ban was introduced in the United States Senate. Truthfully, once again I am infuriated and appalled with how our leaders value life.

Reading an article today on Lifesitenews.com by Dustin Siggins. GOP Presidental Candidate Lindsey Gram, a Republican Senator from South Carolina, introduced the bill.  During a Press Conference, Senator Gram said that he would save late-term unborn children in a “fair way.”  Senator Gram has always had exceptions for rape, incest and life of the mother. He went on to say that in the situation of rape, He was going to leave that to the family, to the mother. Also in the article it mentions that Susan B. Anthony List president Marjorie Dannenfelser, mentions that with the rape exception in the bill they found their sweet spot. Thinking about what Senator Gram said about saving unborn children in a “fair way”.  When you say, something like Senator Gram said, that should be meaning you treat them all the same. That is what being fair is. You should not leave anyone out. Some of the other thoughts that I have when I read the article is when Marjorie Dannenfelser mention the sweet spot. What went through my mind is Really? Since when did rape conceived babies and babies conceived in incest become candy shop of the Pro-Life Movement.

Reading about what Senator Gram said during the Press Conference about leaving the situation of rape to the family, to the mother.  Does he even know what can happen when you leave it to the family?  I have read the stories of where women tell their families that they were raped. Their families don’t believe them and will take them to have a force abortion.  Not that long ago on Lifesitenews.com I read an article where a family beat the 14-year-old to force an abortion. She did miscarry, and they grilled the baby’s body. These are the types of things that go on.
When you have the exceptions for rape and incest, it is saying that babies conceived in rape and incest their lives are worthless and not of value. It is dehumanizing a group of people. Ever since 1966 when the state of Mississippi legalized abortion only in cases of rape and incest, babies conceived in rape and incest have been the target. These precious babies have been thrown under the bus, been left in the burning building, and now their the candy shop of the Pro-Life Movement. The Pro-Life Movement says they want to save the unborn, but they continue to leave a group out.  Let me say it this way. The Pro-Life movement does not like those conceived in rape/incest. Whenever there are Pro-Life Bills being voted on and when those conceived in rape/incest speak up they are silenced. It is very disrespectful and humiliating to silence those that are conceived in rape/incest when they are speaking up for those who can’t speak for themselves.

Will the Pro-Life movement ever change and no longer have exceptions in their bills? I really don’t know, but what I do know is that there are many women who have been raped and their children are speaking up and saying enough is enough. They are taking a stand against the shame that has been placed on them.

So what does it mean to be Pro-Life?  Let me first share my personal story.  I was conceived in rape, and my birth mother chose life for me and made the selfless decision and placed me for adoption. I also had a biological great-aunt who could have arranged for my birth mother to have an illegal abortion. I am thankful that I also had the law to protect me. Since I was conceived in rape, should I be the one that had to pay for the crime that my birth father did? I don’t think I should be the one.  God is the creator of life and the taker of life.  Jeremiah 1:5 (NIV) “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”  Psalms 139:15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Since God knew me before I was formed in the womb of my birth mother. Would you think that God knew how my conception would come to be before he even created me? I know he did.

Being Pro-Life means that every life is respected and valued. It is to be held at the highest esteem that there is. Being Pro-Life is knowing that conception of the unborn baby does not matter. Let me say that if people are doing things against the Word of God that falls on them. The unborn baby is innocent.  Being Pro-Life means you know that God is the Creator of Life and that God is the only one that has the right to take life. Being Pro-Life also means making sure that every life is protected. Being Pro-Life is also giving respect to the mothers who were raped and their children.

In our Declaration of Independence it says that All men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain Unalienable Rights and those also consist of the Right to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.

Ultrasounds Saves Lives

3d-ultrasound-cost

When my birthmother was pregnant with me they did not have ultrasounds, but yet she knew that there was life growing inside of her. A life given by God. God is the creator of Life and Life should be respected and valued. In Matthew 10:31 it says, “Fear ye not, therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.” To God, we are more valuable than the birds of the air.

In the world that we live in today medical technology keeps advancing. Today we have the ultrasound. Ultrasounds are used for many things. In today’s world when a woman is pregnant an ultrasound will show a picture of the baby and can also determine whether if the baby is a boy or girl. We also live in a world where babies are killed every minute through abortion. Planned Parenthood is against ultrasounds. Why? Because they are afraid that is they show the woman the ultrasound the woman will change her mind. Planned Parenthood likes women to think that it is not a baby but a blob of tissue.

Recently I read an article on Live Action News by Sarah Terzo about a woman who went to Planned Parenthood had an ultrasound, but Planned Parenthood would not allow her to see the ultrasound. Later the woman went to a Pregnancy Resource Center and was given a free ultrasound and when she saw the sonogram of her baby she changed her mind and decided to have the baby instead of having the abortion.

I am 100% Pro-Life with no exceptions. I believe that Planned Parenthood should be required to show their patients the ultrasound. With the world that we live in and in the Pro-Abortion movement, so many people think that it is just a blob of tissue and think that the fetus does not breathe until they are born. How do I know that? I have had that conversation with the pro-aborts. The baby does breathe in the womb. The Baby is using the lungs to breathe in amniotic fluid.  Women need to know that it’s a baby and not a blob of tissue, and they need to know that the baby is alive in the womb.

I am thankful that we have the technology of ultrasound. When a woman sees the ultrasound, she will most likely change her mind and have the baby. Ultrasounds changes minds and saves lives.

17 Years Old And Received A Prophetic Word

message-from-god

At the age of 17 years old at my home church in Minneapolis, MN I was praying at the Altar and someone prayed for me and told me that God was going to use me greatly to help birth many new babies into his kingdom. At that time, I did not really understand what that meant, and I did not know anything about knowing I was conceived in rape and saved from an illegal abortion.

God has a timetable for everything. I did not find out about that until many years later. I never shared the story with anyone until last August when God opened the door for me to start sharing it. I have shared it and people have seen it all over the world, and it has hit a few websites not that long ago.

I remember my Pastor telling me not that long ago this is going to get big. I believe it.  Lately, I felt to have it translated into another language. God has opened the door for me to have it translated into Spanish.

Once it is translated, I am sure that it will hit websites in Spanish.

Over the last couple of days, God has been really giving me a burden for the country of Africa. I know that rape is accepted over there and it sad. I won’t really know as to where that is going to go until I talk with my Pastor, who has been over to Africa. I also know that there is someone over in Africa who has told me that it’s now my time. I believe it.

I know what I am doing is only going to get bigger, and that prophetic word that I was given at the age of 17 is coming true.

What About Adoption?

adoption2I am going to talk about adoption I have not done that in awhile. We live in a world where abortion happens all the time.

Since I am ProLife with no exceptions, abortion is out of the question. In the Pro-Choice world, they say that abortion is safe. Abortion is never safe. Someone is always being killed.

What about adoption? Adoption is a safer option and its a loving choice. I am with a few adoption groups on Facebook, and they make adoption as being a bad thing and I know why. There are adoptee’s who have had negative experiences with adoption. I want to add no parent is perfect, and no child is perfect. My life was blessed by adoption. I am the adoptee. I always knew I was adopted.  Does being adopted bother me? Not at all.  Would life be different if I were born into my family? No. Do I think about what my life would have been if I were not adopted? I don’t think about it, but I do know that it would have been different.

When I talk about adoption, I always say that Adoption saves lives. It saved mine. I also say that Love goes deeper than blood.  Adoption in today’s world is different than when I was adopted. The adoptions back when I was born where more “Closed” and in today’s world they are more “Open”. Today the birth mother likes to choose who will be her baby’s parents.

My birth mother is a strong woman she allowed God to choose my parents, and she placed me in God’s hands and she is a hero in my life.  If it were me in my birthmother’s situation, I would want to know about my baby so I would have chosen open adoption.

Adoption is a life-saving option. There are couples out there that can’t have children and are praying for a baby. Adoption gives babies and children who can’t be cared for by the natural parents the gift of a family.

The Rise Up of Esther

such-a-time-as-this

Thinking about the story of Esther over the last few days. When Esther found out that her people were targeted to death, she took a stand. She had Mordecai tell the people to fast and pray for three days along with her and then she would go to the king and make her petition. In that day going to the king, without permission had a death sentence to it. She took a stand and stood alone. She went before the king by herself and made her petition.

Let’s take this story and apply it to those most targeted today. Yes, we live in a world where Christians are targeted and moral values are looked down upon. The life of the unborn is targeted every day.

Let me take you back to 1966 when Mississippi was the first state to legalize abortion only in cases of rape/incest. Girls/Women who get pregnant because of rape and the children of rape are still targets today. It breaks my heart when people can’t see the that the precious baby who is conceived in rape actually saved their mother from being raped more.

When I first started to share my story, I shared it with Rebecca Kiessling who is the founder of Savethe1.com, and I shared it with Juda Myers who is the founder of Choices4Life.org. Both Rebecca Kiessling and Juda Myers were conceived in rape and saved from an illegal abortion. They had the law to protect them. These two precious ladies have hearts of compassion and love. They educate others and help women and their children. These women need to be applaud not criticized.

Over the last couple of weeks, I have seen how cruel society is towards those conceived in rape and their mothers. There is so much hatred. Society thinks that abortion must be the only option for the rape conceived. While I have seen so much hate over the last few days, I have also seen more women who have conceived in rape take a stand and defend us.

While there is, so much hate and babies conceived in rape are targeted. There are women and children who are the Esther’s in today’s world who are rising up and standing up and having their voices be heard so that All life is protected.

If God can use one Lady, who’s name was Esther to save a Nation. Just think about what he can do with those who have been targeted since 1966 to bring an end to abortion.

Abortion advocates lash out on group that supports victims of rape

The way that society treats girls/women who are raped and conceived and children of rape breaks my heart. Choices4Life is a Wonderful Organization. I don’t understand why the rape conceived are such a target. We have done nothing wrong. Babies conceived in rape are created in the image of God. He loves us and he knew how our conception would come to be even before we were born.

There are times when good people MUST speak out and this is one of them. My friend is being attacked online by abortion advocates simply because she is willing to help support the “choice” of women and girls to NOT abort their rape conceived children.

Before you start spilling all your hate on me as well, this blog post is not about rape – it is about the hypocrisy of the left. It is about the rape victims and their right to not be made to feel like they are bad people because they did not want to abort their child.

Enter an 11 year-old pregnant rape victim.

If you call yourself pro-choice then you must believe that the “choice” whether to have an abortion or not is the pregnant girl’s alone.

Having said that, I will soon prove that, according to the advocates of abortion, if the pregnant girl…

The sacredness of life

life_is_sacred_std_t-copyLife is sacred. God chose mankind to have fellowship with him.  We were created by God to worship him, and he wants to use us for his kingdom. Life is sacred it must be highly valued and important.  We live in a world where animals have more protection than humans. The life of the unborn is being taken for granted these days.

Yesterday, we celebrated Memorial Day here in the United States of America. A day to remember those who served our country and are serving our country. I can imagine when people sign up to be in the military whether it is the Army, Navy, Armed Forces, National Guard, Air Force they take it sacred. It is something that they are devoted to. They see the sacredness of serving their country. They have great respect for the military. They take their job very seriously.
Yesterday, I read an article where my friend, Rebecca Kiessling, who also was conceived in rape, had to tell someone why her life was worth living.  People who are conceived because of rape should not have to tell why their lives are worth living. Life should be highly valued, respected no matter the circumstances of conception.
I am thankful that I have a God, who’s name, is Jesus Christ he knew me even before I was conceived. He saw how valuable and important my life is that he died on the cross and rose again so that I can be saved. He died for us so that we can live for him. We must respect and see life as being highly valued, important and worship the one who created and saw the sacredness of life before we were even born.

Game Changer For The 20-Week Pain Capable Protection Act

game-changer

It truly has been an interesting week. From being silenced by a National Organization for letting others know that there were exceptions in the bill. This National Organization does not want people to know that there are exceptions in the bill. On Wednesday, several of my friends and I who were conceived in rape were heartbroken after hearing that the House passed the 20-week pain capable protection act. It is sad when there is an organization that says they want to protect the life of the unborn, but yet they have exceptions in the bills. All life should be protected no matter the circumstances of the conception. We all are created in the image of God.
After hearing the vote on Wednesday, several people on Facebook did not know there were exceptions in the bill.  I feel so impressed to become more involved with the Pro-Life Movement.
After a week of setbacks, Friday evening I got word that there is a game changer going on.  State Senator Lee Bright, a Republican from South Carolina, is filibustering the 20-week pain capable to have the exceptions removed from the bill. For Babies conceived in rape/incest and babies with special needs this is fantastic news! I am thankful to see a Republican senator standing up for the least of these. I pray that Senator Lee Bright will continue to support all life.

The Poison of Pain Capable Legislation

This is an eye opener.

personhoodalabama's avatarPersonhood Alabama

Earlier this year, the US House of Representatives attempted to vote on a bill that would ban abortions after 20 weeks of gestation.  This bill had several flaws in it and received opposition from several personhood groups until it was eventually pulled from the calendar.  Now, a revised version of this bill has been proposed by Representative Trent Franks (R) of Arizona.  This new bill still has many of the flaws contained in the previous bill, but now some personhood organizations are saying that it would be a good bill if just the rape and incest exceptions were removed.

Members of Personhood Alabama may have noticed several e-mails and facebook postings from personhood groups in other states and even from the national Personhood Alliance urging us to contact our representatives and ask them to remove the rape and incest exceptions from this bill.  In light of these requests I would…
