Conceived From Rape Saved From An Illegal Abortion At Planned Parenthood

Baby Photo1

It was in early 2008 that I found out I was conceived from rape and became very upset, but prayed and chose not to allow anger and bitterness take root, and I opted to forgive my birth father because Jesus Christ died on the cross for my sins as well as the sins of my birth father.

My birthmother’s aunt wanted her to have an illegal abortion. I am so grateful that my birth mother did not give into the pressure of her aunt. 64% of abortions happen because of family and friends urging the woman to have an abortion. I am grateful that my birth mother chose life, and I was not one of the statistics of the 64%.

Last Summer when the Center for Medical Progress released the videos of exposing Planned Parenthood to very wrong and illegal practices I found out that my life could have ended at a Planned Parenthood facility before abortion became legal in the state that I was born in. When I saw the video of the 19-week baby in what I call the mixing bowl, I cried because it could have been me. I cringe when I talk about Planned Parenthood because I know that had my birthmother given into that pressure my very life would have ended at a Planned Parenthood facility.

Knowing what I know about my beginnings to life gives me a much greater appreciation for life. I am so thankful that my birthmother chose life and made the best decision and placed me for adoption.

God’s Witness Protection Program

Last Night listening to the Assistant Pastor preach on this titled I thought about some things. I went up to him after church, and I told him that while it did not work out, someone called me on Saturday Night and wanted me to go a different state on Monday and Testify. I look at it as an honor for this person to think of me and call me.

I have also been thinking about other things as well. Jesus Christ came to serve, and he went to places where people needed healing, needed deliverance, needing to hear his voice.

Since I have been sharing my rape conception story, I have come across many people, and we share our stories, and educate to change the hearts and minds of people.

I live in a very liberal state, and God has got me in a position to not only where I can share my story but meet people in the political world.  You ask me why am I getting involved with a state that supports exceptions in their pro-life bills? Well, I may be the only Jesus that these people will see, and they will see a difference through the way I act around them and through me sharing my story their hearts and minds will be changed. It is my prayer that one day the state that I live in will one day turn around and only support personhood. I don’t know about you, but I serve a God, who can do exceedingly, abundantly above what we ask or even think.

Memories of 9/11

As I think back Fourteen years ago, I remember what I was doing. I had woken up, and I heard about the first tower and then I remember hearing about the second tower. My brother at the time was working for Delta Airlines. He called home and told us that all planes have been grounded. I then I called my friend who I was to take to the airport so she could visit her mom in New York. I told her Your not going. All planes have been grounded and the mess that was going on in New York. I said to her turn on the news and call your airline to see if your flight is still on schedule.

I also remember that Saturday my parents and I were to fly out to Maryland and spend time with my boyfriend at the time and his Sister and her family. We could not make it because of the tragedy that happened a couple of days before.

This morning as I watched the news from 14 years ago I thought We remember this every year on the day. But how often do we take the time to remember the lives of the unborn children who lose their lives the horrific act of abortion every day. Abortion is the Holocaust of our day. Millions of lives have been cut short with no voice to be heard because of abortion. I wonder how many babies were aborted that day 14 years ago?

Recently we have seen videos of the atrocities that planned parenthood is doing and getting away with it. When I saw these videos, I was sickened, and I cried and said Oh Jesus help us. It is because of these videos that I found out my very life could have ended at a planned parenthood clinic before it was legal. It did something to me when I found that out.

While I talk about memories of 9/11, I wonder how many of us woke up remembering the price that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ paid and thanking him for another day to live.  As I think about these things from 9/11, It makes me want to remember to pray every morning thanking God for the price he paid and thank him for another day. It makes me want to spend time reading his word and living the best life that I know how.  It also makes me want to take a stronger stand to help protect the life of the unborn.

I hope the memories of 9/11 that you have has changed your life and helps you realize as to how fragile life is.

Knowing Who You Are In Christ

take-the-time-to-know-god1

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Just take a walk with me in my shoes for a few moments. Think about what it would have been like if you found out you were conceived in rape. How would it make you feel? I don’t think you would have positive feelings at the moment. I sure didn’t. I remember the silence on the phone when my caseworker told me. I remember my caseworker asking me if I was ok. I remember the numb feeling. I remember telling myself ok how do you deal with this? I remember praying hard so that I would not become bitter or angry. I had to pray that for several days. Since I never really told anyone about my beginnings I just put those feelings way in the back of my mind. Since I have started to share the story last August I have had to deal with some emotions. I have seen people who say they are Pro-Life be very nasty towards those of us who are conceived in rape/incest. It hurts when you stand for life and Organizations like the National Right to Life block you from you taking a stand for your people. When people do things like that they are saying your life is not worth anything.
Your situation can be a lot different than mine, and you may feel guilty, you may feel worthless, you may feel unloved.  I have some good news for you; we don’t have to take that negative thinking or live in fear.
Romans 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
The Bible does not exempt Christians from going through anything. I can tell you people who are anointed of God go through so much because of the anointing.

Knowing who you are in Christ
We can change our thinking when all of hell is coming against us. We can stand up and say God has given me the Spirit of Adoption and because he adopted us we can call him Daddy, Father. He is the one that makes us new. When you became/become a Christian, we became/become a new creature. When you know that Jesus Christ (God manifested in flesh) died on the cross for your sins and loved you so much that he did it for you, you can know that old things are passed away and he has made all things new.
When you know who you are in Christ, there is nothing that can get in the way of you knowing how much he loves you, how much he wants to spend time with you. You will know that you are his son or his daughter. You know that he will never leave you or forsake you. You will know so much about your heavenly father. To God, we are more valuable than the sparrow.

The sacredness of life

life_is_sacred_std_t-copyLife is sacred. God chose mankind to have fellowship with him.  We were created by God to worship him, and he wants to use us for his kingdom. Life is sacred it must be highly valued and important.  We live in a world where animals have more protection than humans. The life of the unborn is being taken for granted these days.

Yesterday, we celebrated Memorial Day here in the United States of America. A day to remember those who served our country and are serving our country. I can imagine when people sign up to be in the military whether it is the Army, Navy, Armed Forces, National Guard, Air Force they take it sacred. It is something that they are devoted to. They see the sacredness of serving their country. They have great respect for the military. They take their job very seriously.
Yesterday, I read an article where my friend, Rebecca Kiessling, who also was conceived in rape, had to tell someone why her life was worth living.  People who are conceived because of rape should not have to tell why their lives are worth living. Life should be highly valued, respected no matter the circumstances of conception.
I am thankful that I have a God, who’s name, is Jesus Christ he knew me even before I was conceived. He saw how valuable and important my life is that he died on the cross and rose again so that I can be saved. He died for us so that we can live for him. We must respect and see life as being highly valued, important and worship the one who created and saw the sacredness of life before we were even born.

The Holy Spirit

Holy Ghost

Yesterday my husband and I left for church early and went to walmart and someone approached my husband and asked if he was a minister. My husband said yes and told the person where he goes to church. The person asked my husband if you must have the Holy Ghost to be saved. Lets look at what Acts Chapter 2 says 1-42

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?

8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?

9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,

10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,

11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?

13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.

16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:

21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:

23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

25 For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:

26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:

27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

28 Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.

29 Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.

30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;

31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.

33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool.

36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

As we seen the 120 received the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:38 Peter stood up on the day of Pentecost and said that we must repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost. Verse 39 says for the promise is unto you and to your children and to as many as the Lord shall call.  Jesus Christ had to ascend back to Heaven for the Comforter to come. The comforter is the Holy Ghost. They received the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. I was raised in an Apostolic Pentecostal church and when someone receives the Holy Ghost they are not speaking in a language that they know. They are speaking in a language that only God can understand. Receiving the Holy Ghost is God’s spirit living within us. When we receive the Holy Ghost it’s as if God is putting his stamp on us and when he comes back for his bride he will know who is his because he put his stamp on us.

To be Accepted

Acceptance

Waking up this morning I thought about being accepted. With being adopted I can relate with many adoptees that struggle with rejection issues and have a hard time with being accepted. With being adopted myself I struggled with rejection and acceptance issues. Within the first 8 weeks of my life I was in the hospital for a week and my birth mother and I had some bonding time, than I went to foster care for about 6 weeks and then to adoptive home. A lot of people make think because I was a baby and don’t remember that time that it should not have affected me.

The need to feel accepted and to be accepted is something that everyone at sometime or another probably struggle with. Not an easy thing to go through because then you feel alone and that no one cares. What we forget to remember is that Jesus Christ cares for us and he accepts us.

I was looking for some verses this morning on being accepted and there are some that I want to share.

Ephesians 1:6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

I am so thankful I have a God who accepts me and cares for me. He sees the sparrow that falls and he sees everything that we do and he cares for us and we are valuable to God.
