Silence maybe golden at times, but not when it comes to the life of the unborn. Yesterday I had the privilege not to be silent. Yesterday was Labor Day here in the United States. I had the privilege to take part of being at the Maryland Right to Life booth for a few hours. The Maryland Republican Party booth was right next to ours. I was able to meet Rich Douglas, who is running for US Senate. I asked him where he stand on pro-life issues. He is for the exceptions. I had the privilege to share the short version of my conceived in rape story with him. When I told him that my very life could have been taken away from me through an illegal abortion at a planned parenthood clinic, he just looked at me. I pray it makes him think. I also had the opportunity to talk with a young lady who is pro-choice. Shared with her my story and I told her to think about it as she watched the video of a 4D Ultrasound of the baby in the womb. She said she would. I met so many people yesterday most of the responses were positive. So many people thanked me for being there.
My favorite part was seeing the small children come to the table, and I was able to show them the unborn baby at seven weeks in the womb and various stages up to 30 Weeks. I would say can you believe you were that tiny. They would just look at me with amazement.
At towards the end of the day when my relief came I was able to share with them my story and let them know about the responses from the day. He told me that from all over the state they see a more positive outcome.
Over the last few days, I have been thinking that these videos that have been surfacing about planned parenthood dismembering and selling baby body parts are awakening people up. More people want to get involved with the pro-life movement and take a stand for life.
When you speak up and take a stand for the life of the unborn, you see things change. It made me glad yesterday to hear so many stories and seeing people 100 percent pro-life.
