I am so blessed to have been raised in the home that I was raised in. Being adopted gave me the opportunity to know Jesus Christ in a powerful way. Jesus Christ the Creator of the world is also God who is our Redeemer and Savior.  It was in the middle of a Chapel Service at School that I received the gift of the Holy Ghost at the age of 7.  The spirit of God filled my life and life more abundantly. Lets look at scripture where God is our Redeemer and Savior and Jesus Christ is our Redeemer and Savior.

Psalms 78:34-35 ” When he slew them, then they sought him: and they returned and enquired early after God. ³⁵ And they remembered that God was their rock, and the high God their redeemer.”

Isaiah 47:4 “ As for our redeemer, the Lord of hosts is his name, the Holy One of Israel.”

Isaiah 44:6 “Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.”

Isaiah 49:26 ” And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the Lord am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.”

Psalms 106:21 “They forgat God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt;”

Luke 1:46-47 “And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, ⁴⁷ And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.”

I John 4:14 ” And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.”

I Peter 2:21-24 ” For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: ²² Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: ²³ Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: ²⁴ Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.”

John 4:40-42 ” So when the Samaritans were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them: and he abode there two days. ⁴¹ And many more believed because of his own word; ⁴² And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.”

Philippians 3:20 ” For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:”

I Timothy 1:1-3 ” Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope; ² Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord. ³ As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine,”

I Timothy 4:10 ” For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.”

Titus 1:1-4 ” Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness; ² In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; ³ But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour; ⁴ To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour.

I Peter 1:10-11 ” Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: ¹¹ Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.”

Jude 25 ” To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.”
